Robbie Williams will be performing his new single Bodies as a world exclusive on the first of The X Factor live finals, it has been confirmed.It will be the first time he has performed in the UK since 2006, but says appearing on the popular talent show was an easy choice to make.
"I'm a huge fan of The X Factor. Of course I'll be watching every week, just like everyone else," said the former Take That star.
The 12 finalists go head-to-head to face the viewers' votes in October and Robbie will be appearing on the first of the shows.
Bodies will be released on October 12, followed by Robbie's new album Reality Killed The Video Star on November 9.
The album and single were produced by legendary producer Trevor Horn.
Since leaving Take That in 1996, Williams has enjoyed huge success as as solo artist
He has had six number one singles and every one of his UK studio albums has topped the charts.
In all he has sold 55 million records around the world.
